Subject: Registers to communicate with PC

Where can I find the information about the registers and bits, their type, ( integer, floating etc) and how many are available that can be used to communicate data such as motion parameters, I/O etc. between PC and K flop. I'm creating a new machine interface and I need to know what my limitations are.

Hi AZ,

It isn't completely clear what you are asking.  All communication between the PC and KFLOP is via Script Commands described here:

Most GUI Interfaces would interface at that level.  Rather they would interface to our .NET KMotion Libraries.

What I'm looking for is a way to communicate with variables that are created in C programs.  Both integers and bits.

Hi AZ,

There are 1024 virtual bits that can be Set/Cleared/Read from the PC or KFLOP
There are 200 32-bit Integer Persist Variables that can be Get/Set from the PC or KFLOP
There is the 8MByte Gather Buffer that can be Get/Set from the PC or KFLOP

HTH
